Cars, bus, bikes

A poster from the City of Muenster (Germany) planning office, created apparently in 2001, shows the space required to transport the same number of passengers by car, bus, or bycicle. (Via EM)

It would be great if someone re-did this campaign today for the world to see and learn. As I'm sure if done right, it would make a good impact on people.

I agree. It's such a good visual image which would easily translate globally. Well done to the city of Muenster.

What a great visualization! So expressive!

Amazing is the difference between cars and bus.

The only question that remains: Are the people in the bus also standing, or only sitting?

I guess that you can ask several questions of that kind (how big is the bus? how many people drive in each car? etc) but let's keep the focus on the symbolic aspect of the picture... :-)
