What is a blog? Watch the Blogumentary

Chuck Olsen's Blogumentary is a bit on the long side (one hour and a few minutes) and more than one year old (I learned about it only today), but it's one of the best explanation of what blogs are that I've seen so far, going back to identify Samuel Pepys as history's first blogger (because of the detailed personal journals he kept) and going around the US and the world asking bloggers why they blog and gathering an amazing array of examples on the impacts of blogging - from very personal stories to those of soldiers in Iraq to traditional media and politics. Chuck is the founder of videoblog Minnesota Stories. Here is his Blogumentary:

Yeah, it could stand to lose a good 15 minutes. Thanks for the link!

Is this a blogumentary?

It seems more like a documentary about blogs and blogging.

I on the other hand have taken comments left on the blog on my site www.stayorleave.co.uk made quick time movies of each comment and am playing them back randomly using Director software.

This will be shown at the end of year degree show at the Art Institute in Bournemouth.

This is a real blogumentary it has comments about how people feel about UK troops being in Iraq and Afghanistan.

This is possibly the first true blogumentary in the world.

Let's leave the dispute about the meaning of "blogumentary" aside, it's irrelevant. I like your approach, will you put the Qtime movies online for everybody to see? B-
