• Switzerland to have English-language national radio channel
  I've argued for a while that Switzerland is ready for a national English-language media outlet. By the end of the year Geneva-based radio station WRG will become World Radio Switzerland, and cover the whole country (David Spring in L'Hebdo - in French).

• An idea to increase the blogosphere's "conversationality"
  Stephanie Booth picks up on an idea I had a while ago to "help" conversations online, expands and specifies it, and calls for someone to develop it: a feature allowing bloggers to "promote" all or part of a readers' comment to the main page.
