So a few days ago the US administration for the first time acknowledged that global warming is happening. Not directly though: it did so by proposing to designate polar bears as endangered species because of the accelerating melting of the Arctic ice, citing as cause the buildup of heath-trapping gases.
Still, among the many bad news, let's take that as a good omen - and by sharing this loving bear hug captured by my photographer friend Daisy Gilardini in Manitoba I wish you audacity, success and happiness in 2007!
