Last night in San Francisco the winners of the TEDPrize 2007 have been announced: photojournalist James Nachtwey, biologist E.O. Wilson (author of "The Diversity of Life"), and former US president Bill Clinton.
"All three winners are giants, paradigm-shifters", said TED curator Chris Anderson announcing the names. Each has been granted one "world-changing wish" that they will unveil at TED2007 in Monterey in March, asking TEDsters for support in fulfilling this wishes. Each will also receive US$ 100'000 to be spent in support of their wishes (for more background info about the TEDPrize, see this previous post).
